Our Story
The idea to open a business came from an idea Thomas had one night when he was heading to bed. He was turning off his bedroom light using a voice-assistant device and thought, "Why don't I help teach about the ever evolving industry of smart technology and make people feel comfortable with it?" He then hunkered down to work on a business plan that has shaped what Smart Cloud™ is today.
With a background in computer services, customer service, and a Comp TIA A+ certification, he is well-equipped to take care of all the needs of his clients.
Working in the customer service industry for years, including being a supervisor at a Fortune 500 company, taught him much about what people are looking for in a business and in the services it offers. He believes for someone to fully trust a business, it needs to offer full transparency, a sense of community, and respect for its clients. Thomas founded Smart Cloud™ with these beliefs at its core.

Community is about love, and care.
Community involvement is a necessary part of trying to make the world better. From volunteering to help feed those less fortunate, to providing opportunities to those who wouldn't have one somewhere else.
Being echo-friendly helps our community immensely so that we can keep saying Earth is our home. We accomplish this by providing services remotely, and not needing paper to print out service tickets. We also use recycled material for shipping.
We want to help everyone. Our service area is broad and wide.
We provide our IT repair, support, and managed IT nationwide! However, we only provide our on-site services to those of who live near the 7 county Twin Cities metro area. We are your Twin Cities tech support.
